Focus on the Family plans to put a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage on the fall ballot in Colorado, according to the Denver Post [February 11, 2005, "Gay-marriage fight looms"]. From the article, "With Democrats controlling both chambers of the Colorado legislature for the first time in 44 years, Minnery said the effort in Colorado would involve gathering enough signatures to earn a ballot spot instead of lobbying legislators to refer it to the ballot."
Update: Colorado Pols: "Just a friendly reminder that Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Coffman will participate in a Q&A with Colorado Pols on Tuesday, Feb. 15. Coffman will answer reader questions throughout the day."
