Denver Post: "Politically connected Democratic lawyer Steve Farber is breaking ranks and throwing his support behind Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez.
"Farber, a founding partner of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber in Denver, said he called Democratic candidate Bill Ritter on Thursday morning to tell him of his decision.
"The move may be the first concrete sign that some who planned to back Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper for governor are trickling to the Beauprez camp."
