Denver November 2004 Election
It's still way too early to be thinking about the election a year from now but some of the pols are. Here's an article from the Denver Post [October 7, 2003, "2 in, 1 out as congressional races firm up"] about the congressional races next year. From the article, "State Sen. Ron Teck said today he has decided against seeking a congressional seat while Reps. Bob Beauprez and Diana DeGette said they will seek re-election. Only Reform Party candidate Victor Good has filed an official statement of candidacy in the 3rd District. Those who have expressed an interest include Sen. Ken Chlouber, R-Leadville and Rep. Matt Smith, R-Grand Junction; and former state Sen. Bill Thiebaut, Sen. Jim Isgar, Rep. John Salazar, Bernie Buescher and Anthony Martinez, all Democrats." Here's the coverage from the Rocky Mountain News [October 7, 2003, "Teck decides not to run for Congress"].
