Denver November 2004 Election
The race is on for Senate and Ben Nighthorse Campbell, the incumbent, is ready to do battle, according to the Rocky Mountain News [November 8, 2003, "Campbell says he still has the moves"]. The 70 year old senator has successfully fought prostate cancer and is seeking another term. Campbell is the only Native-american US Senator.
The Rocky [November 8, 2003, "Race for Senate"] also lists some information about Campbell's announced opponents. So far we have Fountain educator Mike Miles and Lawyer Brad Freedberg. There is a chance that U.S. Rep. Mark Udall may also run.
