Denver November 2004 Election Democratic US Senate hopeful Mike Miles was in Cortez this week, according to the Cortez Journal. From the article, "Miles is a West Point graduate who graduated eighth in his class. He was a counterterrorism specialist with the Army Rangers. He has worked as a U.S. diplomat in Poland and Russia and is presently a public-school administrator in Colorado Springs."
