Denver November 2004 Election
State Treasurer Mike Coffman is trying to get the state legislature to acknowledge that the Gallagher Amendment, Tabor Amendment, and Amendment 23 are combining to force unreasonable decisions on state and local government across the state, according to the Rocky Mountain News [December 11, 2003, "Calming a fiscal storm"]. This is relevant to next November's election in that one organization "The Bell Policy Center, a Denver think tank, already is trying to get on next year's ballot with a proposal to totally revamp TABOR."
