Denver 2004 November Election
Attorney General, Ken Salazar, announced on Friday that the US Congressional districts used in the 2002 election will be used for the 2004 election, according to the Denver Post [January 24, 2004, "AG: Districts set for '04 vote"]. This is important outside of Denver since last spring's redistricting attempt by the Republican controlled legislature changes the boundaries of every distict except Denver.
Colorado Luis weighs in on the redistricting decision, "As I've said before, Democrats in the Colorado legislature should make it clear that if the GOP expects their help and compromises on budget relief, the first budget item that must be cut is the money the state is spending on the Republicans' naked partisan power grab."
