--But there's more than a lack of understanding about what .NET is; more important is the lack of trust. As far as I'm concerned, the better .NET sounds, the worse it's going to be. M$ has a habit of promising a certain amount of heaven that really ends up locking you in to their (proprietary) hell. M$ is all about making money, which means if it's all about .NET, .NET must be all about making money. And that means .NET users are goiing to get screwed coming and going and coming and going and......
