Skipping Commercial With TiVo is Sort-of Possible Hidden ad-skipping feature found in TiVo. A specific pattern of keystrokes on a remote control for TiVo digital video recorders enables subscribers to activate a feature making it easier to skip through ads. [CNET News.com] And for those we know and love just getting that TiVo jones, the Tivo Community Forum looks like a good place to spend lots of time. The Underground Forum, in particular, has lots of TiVo hacks, including a complete list of special codes (like the 30 second skip referred to above).
