Mailblocks, a new challenge/response anti-spam system. "CNET News.com's Charles Cooper says Phillip Goldman is either a rich guy with a death wish or a man on the verge of making tech history." [News.com]
Their web site mentions a patent. I was unable to find it in a quick search on the PTO's web site. If you find out anything about it, please make the info available here on the wecanstopspam.org wiki.

Salam Pax is back with posts direct from Baghdad describing the scene. Fascinating reading. It's hard to know what to make of this bit:
First watching Al-jazeera they said that these were the places that got hit by bombs from an air raid a few miniutes earlier bit when I went up to the roof to take a look I saw that there were too many of them, we heard only three explosions. I took pictures of the nearest. My cousine came and told me he saw police cars standing by one and setting it on fire. Now you can see the columns of smoke all over the city.
Ah... somebody on The Command Post just commented that it's probably about lighting one of the trenches of oil.
