A Web Authoring Review Of Safari [MacSlash: A daily dose of Macintosh News and Discussion]
A couple of comments on Safari. First, it seems to have produce some itching the fact that KHTML and not Gekko was used as a rendering engine. I like Konqueror and not Mozzila so I think this was the right decision. Being that Safari is the only Mac browser capable of handling my bank's site, I think I have the right idea. Second, but closely related, the comparison with Chimera is getting tired. Tab browsing is okey, but it isn't much better than opening windows behind the front window, particularly on a Mac. Is a geeky feature that most people won't use... That's my opinion, Dennis Miller could be wrong...

Quicktime 6.1 changes the API's for full screen display. This conflicts with several apps that use full screen. FOr example, El Gato EyeTV is, unfortunately, one. Instead of full screen you get a pretty blanck screen...

I really like Ken Berenskin's weblog, my only criticism is that it doesn't update as often as I would like. I just heard Ken in Your Mac Life, the show was from the 8th of January). Not surprisingly, he sounds very nice and intelligent...
