Canada Second Best Connected Country. http://www.cbc.ca/stories/2004/04/27/www040427

A CBC news article reports on a study from the Conference Board of Canada that indicates Canada is still the second best-connected country in the world behind the United States.

Sweden is tied with Canada for second place, and other countries including Finland, Germany, Britain and Australia are not far behind.

Canada can, however, boast the cheapest access to the Internet, as charges for internet connections, phone hookups, and local and long-distance calls are relatively low.

The Conference Board report also praised Canada's e-learning initiatives. [e-Learning Eclectic]
