Motorola expects iRadio, featuring 435 channels, to be sold by wireless service providers to their subscribers for between $7 and $10 a month. By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS. [NYT > Technology] -- perhaps it is time to lobby for some free educational iRadio channels for public radio and for college iRadio to provide balance.  With the iTunes format which includes graphics (for album covers) it is feasible to broadcast chalk&talk classes and likely ppt&talk classes as iRadio versions of podcasts.  This may be especially attractive in underdeveloped countries where the cellphone is the cheapest and most available educational platform. -- BL 10:27:34 PM    comment
