Mike Amundsen must have a slow day at work

Mike, of Fitch & Mather fame if I'm not mistaken, has taken up a hobby it seems. Here is a page that tracks blogs by known or suspected MS employees. Do you suppose this is sort of a "horses mouth" thing? I actually called Mike a couple of years ago during the .NET beta with a question or two about the first "I Buy Spy" sample app. Those were the days... the DOW was at close to 50,000 , everybody and their brother were making bucks and I was in Maui on vacation with nothing better to do than to bug Mike. Whew!

As seen in Mike Gunderloy's excellent newsletter:

I admire Mike for taking the time to create a newsletter with all sorts of goodies on a frequent basis.

Meanwhile, the folks over at WashTech News are writing about "The Great
Tech Job Exodus"

Using a leaked PowerPoint presentation from Microsoft Senior VP Brian
Valentine as a springboard, WashTech warns darkly of the loss of US jobs
and a decline in wages for US IT workers. WashTech's answer is to
organize (ie, unionize) and pressure employers to stop outsourcing jobs
overseas.

I'm saying a prayer for Sam

If you have kids, you know that the stuff he is going through is pretty darn stressful. Hang in there Sam!
