[New York Times: Technology]  //  I'm using Pop-Up Stopper and love it.  Having the sounds to tell you when it's working is fantastic too.  Note, it does not play well with multi-monitor browser conduits and Grokster.   Still the free version is the best piece of software I haven't paid for in months.

Study: Tech-job shortage hits 20 states. A new report finds the tech industry eked out a modest overall increase of 80,000 new jobs last year, far short of the half a million that had been typical for over the last decade. [CNET News.com // Appears way worse than this story from where I sit.
