12:41:16 AM   18k feet from central office& no cable in an unincorporated area = Sprint Broadband Direct which has, until the last few days, been very reliable.  It now works about 10 minutes a day which means I'm back to dialup.  Yikes.  Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
