Other fun for a Sunday afternoon, fixing someone's Win98 machine which is infected with this W32.Badtrans.1331 @ mm virus.   This sucker is nasty.   They chose to ignore the signs for quite some time, called me when it was "funky".  Funky is the understatement of the year.   Likely, they will be getting the full recovery disk treatment but I (or NAV) is working feverishly trying to scour the machine.
Also, they went out and bought McAfee which I tried to use to no avail.  I haven't much experience with it but figured it along with NAV were the top two.  It wouldn't install, wouldn't uninstall and just vaporized many times.  Tried to boot from the CD with no luck.  Dropped the NAV CD in the drive, boot from it and it has been cranking for hours.  Ever think of dropping your antivirus protection ? don't do it.  McAfee ? nah I stick with Norton, they haven't failed me yet.

Over 30 baseball league update.  I was batting .500 with a .666 on base average going into today's game.  Note, I haven't played baseball in 20 years so I was quite pleased after 1 game which we lost 13-12.

STRONG>Today was ugly, we lost 17-0.  Oh man were we bad.  Me ? 0-2 and came up lame with a bad quad (or two) after the first at bat.  The second at bat hurt like crazy but the wicked curve this old gray hair was throwing made me look sad.  Quad can't hurt when you are standing there completely fooled by the 1-2 curveball that I swear broke like a foot and a half.

Not much in the old aggregator tonight or I'm on top of the news for the first time in awhile.
