  • "a task, an enjoyable task that you stepped into in hopes of, for a minute, finding some joy and dealing with grief." - Jackson Browne
  • "I've never heard Bruce play like that in my life," on Bruce Springsteen - Jorge Calderon
  • "But I was wrong. When I heard him sing it, well, I knew I was wrong. His vocal takes it to a place I was not expecting." - Jorge Calderon
  • "So you are him." - Warren Zevon
  • "Of all the things I've done in my professional life, all the things I will do, being part of this will be one of the things I know I'll remember the most."

Warren Zevon is dying, and he asks some friends to join him on one last album

I think I just decided we should license weblogs

In order to be licensed you must:

  • Have permalinks.
  • Have an RSS feed with an orange RSS button
  • Not be a font bitch
  • There must be more, much more I'm sure......but this is a start.

Those meeting these criteria can be licensed.  For those of you who dont' have these, I hate to tell you but what you have is a web page.  Nothing more, nothing less and it certainly ain't a weblog.

Excellent Alan Solomon and Terry Armour Quadruple play on local baseball broadcast teams.  Be sure to read all the way to the end.  If you are a Chicago baseball fan as I, this is awesome.  If not, pass on this as you won't get it though you might get a kick out of Ron's "third stringer" story at the end.  I found this through Eric who I visit only occasionally now as the technical details of his "weblog" are too troublesome.
