11:57:45 PM   AOL ? caller ID says ? 15 times.  Yes, they called here like 15 times in the last week saying "unknown caller" because another free 6 months passed and Kevin told them to go take a hike cause I wouldn't pay a nickel for the "service".  They are swinging wildly like a punch drunk fighter trying to propping up the propped up subscriber numbers.  You can't build a business on subscribers who are not paying you anything.  You might get away with for a little while but there is nowhere to go but......going.....downnnnnnnn....(add Joe Perry lick here).

11:54:32 PM   AOL launches blogging service.  It is so sad to see a sinking ship trying to use a fast growing yet fledgling techology as a life preserver.

11:40:08 PM   Perfect for the pennant drive ?  ah that sounds so wonderful.  Who on earth would ever have dreamed we could say this ever ?  let alone in August of this year ? and even on both sides of town.   In a matter of about 7 days we can say September.  It is almost freakin' September and both teams are in contention. BOTH !  Who'd a thunk it ?

11:37:54 PM   Has anyone ever tried to figure out the lyrics to Paranoid ?  It really isn't that odd that Ozzy butchered "Take Me Out To the Ballgame".  Best idea I've seen coming out of it is this which I found via Eric. Eric's words (which I can't point to directly cause the technology at the Tribune is lacking "It's an engaging idea, perfect for the pennant drive"
