Local Chicago dog law problems Oak Park puts family in doggone bind and the follow up Woman's 3-dog plight generates sympathy. The first article isn't the best reporting. These folks are not being asked to "dump" their dog. They are being asked to obey the law and find it a home elsewhere. They are being given ample time to do so. Irrelevant, all rules have to have a limited number of exceptions. Add a clause to allow special cases and based on the older dogs age at this home, let this one go. Any others added or people who are just becoming collectors can apply and be denied. I find it truly sad this had to make it all the way to the Chicago Tribune before someone wised up and remedied this situation.

cnn.com: When good software goes bad // I think we could just drop the when. Unfortunately, it's "good software goes bad". No actually it is worse. We should drop the good too. Sad to say it's "software goes bad". Why is is acceptable for software quality to be so poor ? When is the user going to stand up and say "We've had enough".
