SUSE Linux running on XBox. Xbox Runs X, KDE, Gnome, StarOffice and Tuxracer [Slashdot] Timothy on Slashdot is pointing to this guy (Philip Van Hoof) who has not only ported SUSE Linux to the XBox, but also has StarOffice, telnet, a server and a bunch of other stuffrunning as well. Here's some screenshot evidence. This is what I'm talking about!  Game machines not only have all the processing and eventually networking power of a PC - but also superior multimedia capabilities, killer customers (no pun intended) and a great price point! Now we need to attach these machines to the Home LAN and use the PC as the storage medium.  Appropriate devices for the appropriate application or service.
