Mark Watson has a weblog. Mark has written many books on programming. I have a couple of his Java books on my shelf. More interestingly he's written books about Common Lisp too. His free book, Loving Lisp, is a great introduction to the language. I like the subtitle to the book - "The Savy Programmer's Secret Weapon".
