From the Seaside mailing list, here's a comparison between a weblog implementation written in Java and one written using Seaside, a Smalltalk web application framework that is based on continuations.

Wafer is a weblog spec created to compare different Java frameworks for implementing web applications. By implementing the weblog application with different frameworks you can compare the implementations. The Seaside implementation looks and works exactly like the reference Java imlpementation.

The difference in size, number of classes, etc between the Java version and the Seaside version are quite striking.
