NYT -- According to Henry Harteveldt at Forrester Research, business travelers booked $13 billion in travel online in 2002, about equally divided between managed bookings on corporate-sponsored online travel sites and unmanaged bookings by individuals. That figure will rise to $27 billion in 2007, he estimated. Airlines got about $7.7 billion of last year's total, while hotels accounted for about $4.5 billion.
