I agree, but record companies who assume that we're all thieves and attempt to prevent us from copying music that we buy for our own convenience and use are even bigger thieves (i.e., unbelievably greedy attitude). Why would I want to buy a CD that I can't listen to on my own computer? Why would I want to buy a CD if I can't incorporate parts of it into mix tapes, etc. for my own use? I don't think I'm glamorizing piracy by asking such questions. In the end, record companies can do whatever they want and so can the consumer...
