Progress ! The container holding (almost) all our worldly belongings arrived in Boston on Monday. Assuming a 5 day delay for the container to be unloaded and cleared by custom this means we should be getting our stuff by the middle of next week and can finally move in to our new house. Hurrah !
I also now have a US check book which is just sufficiently different to a UK one that I had to seek guidance on how to fill them out - how embarrassing. comment 12:16:44 PM
