Divided We Stand???
After a recent on-line discussion about politics and political books in America, I wondered, does our book buying reveal our political camps?
Four line summary:
- People who buy liberal agenda books tend to buy other liberal agenda books.
- People who buy conservative agenda books tend to buy other conservative agenda books.
- Both groups bought one book in common:What Went Wrong: The Clash Between Islam and the West
- Liberal agenda book buyers bought a larger set of books than Conservative agenda book buyers (or my alternative explanation: there are more Liberal agenda books on the market than Conservative agenda ones (because Academia is more Liberal oriented.))
