| We returned from a 3 day trip to the moon, friday (20 Feb 2004.) Here's Sasha playing in the lunar soil - remarkably similar to the powdered snow you find in the Truckee area near Lake Tahoe. I'm in the back there loading up our rent-a-car

We rented the 1950's style "fishbowl" helmets - the drawback is getting hit in the head with hella k-rad solar radiation. (The pros demand those opaque white helmets with the gold-mirrored visors.) Anyway, we were only exposed to the harsh light of Sol for a few hours. My eyes are red, and my nose is a little bit sunburnt. We're certainly glad to be back on Terra Firma. (Let's hope the Earth is always a nicer place to live than the moon...)
