While I'm not a big sports fan, as a resident of Ohio, I have to say Go Bucks!

UnicodeChecker 1.5.5
UnicodeChecker displays detailed information for every code point from the Unicode Standard. The information includes Unicode name, UTF-8, UTF-16 and UTF-32 encodings, XHTML entities, mapping info and a lot more. You can browse characters by code point or find them by their Unicode name. Several string conversion functions are available via the MacOS X "Services" menu and via AppleScript. Changes in this version: AppleScript support for converting to and from HTML entities. Since Unicode results in scripts can catch even experienced scripters by surprise, this could be a valuable developer tool for scripters.

ABtoiCal 1.1
This AppleScript creates recurring all-day events in iCal for every birthday it finds in Address Book. Requires OS X 10.2 or higher and iCal 1.0.1. Darn, I wish I would have found this yesterday before I finished performing this task manually!

iCal 1.0.1: AppleScript improvements?
With the release of iCal 1.0.1, one user reports that scripters are now able to create all day events and delete events. I haven't done any iCal scripting, and I'm not up to speed on its dictionary, so feel free to send a note if you find other changes to the iCal dictionary.
