VMWare vs VirtualPC: A 5 Minute Review.
I'm in the process of signing up for Microsoft's Empower program for ISV's, as seen on joelonsoftware. For $350 you get five copies of MSDN Universal, which includes VirtualPC along with almost everything else MS puts out (Visual Studio.NET, Office, SQL Server, Sharepoint, Biztalk, CRM, etc). I am a huge VMWare fan, to the point of investing only in dual cpu's machines optimized for its use, but the marginal cost of free is tough to beat.
