PNSQC Spring Workshop
Tomorrow I'm attending the PNSQC Spring Workshop in Bellevue, WA. It's pretty cool to have a testing workshop so close to home. The session I picked to attend is "Test-Driven Development: a Hands-On Introduction."
The pre-workshop instructions state:
1. Please bring a laptop, or join someone who has, to do the hands-on exercises. 2. Install java at home to save time in class. 3. Install a wireless networking card to participate in additional 'online' activities.
So, I just got done installing java onto my laptop and running through the simple HelloWorldApp and HelloWorld tutorials. This is actually the first java code that I've ever looked at so I hope being a rank beginner will be OK. I understand it's similar to C/C++ (which I have many years of experience with) so that may help. I also wonder what the "'online' activities" they mention will be....
