Today I posted summaries of 13 opinions, and I have 16 more slip opinions to summarize for tomorrow, with over 30 opinions still to be released before the term ends next week. A lot of reading and condensing. Amidst all of this, I'm wrestling with the fall docket, which is full of interesting cases (constitutionality of $3.9 billion pension bonds; several complex certified questions with important statewide impact; a dog case; a follow-up to Crawford v. Washington; and several others). In other news related to the court where I work, Howard Bashman recently confirmed that one my bosses, Justice Larry V. Starcher, will be interviewed as part of the popular '20 Questions for the Appellate Court Judge' feature of his Web log.
