The Cat's Revenge
Well I guess I should have left the shades up. Virgil is now lying partially on my keyboard making it *damn* hard to type (he's basically on my left wrist). Sigh. Glare is much reduced though.

Guilt and Your Cats
Am I the only one out there who is this much of a sucker for his cats? One of my two cats, Virgil, has his primary sleeping area in my office room on a trunk just under the window. Everyday he basks in the sunlight showing all the signs of "happy cat". Now on particularly bright sunny days there is so much glare that I have to pull the shades down. Today when I did that I felt tremendously guilty about denying him sunlight. But if I don't work then who buys the catfood? Him? (actually it is a gender challenged girl but let's just leave that one alone).

Wanted: Low Memory Linux Distro for Serving MP3s
I got an interesting IM from a reader with a spare laptop with a 40 gb drive, a CD-ROM, ethernet but only 16 megs of ram. He wants to convert it to a file server to store MP3s. Anyone out there know what type of Linux distro can run in only 16 megs?
Note: Network card is a cardbus, D-Link DE220; Thinkpad 380D, Pentium 150.
