Is greed from the record industry surprising ?
Several months ago I purchased the "Norah Jones" CD at Borders - $10.99 - regular price in the jazz section. That was before she started getting airplay and notice.
Today I was back in Borders and noticed the same CD was now in their top 20 / popular selections near the door. The list price for the same CD is now $18.99, on sale for $13.99.
So.... now that this record is selling more than a few copies it costs more ? The price almost doubles ?
I guess I'm in the wrong business....
