Another Hot August day...
Which can lead to all sorts of strange behavior. Fortunately Congress is in recess so the only silliness coming out of Washington government right now is courtesy of the Executive branch. Hopefully the weather down there will break before too much damage is done.
Of background pictures...
I'm not a fan of cluttered desktops, whether real or virtual. The backgrounds I pick for my GUI based OS's reflects this. I find that it is easier to work with things if the background is dark. And the picture, if any, also matters. It can't take more than a 1/4 of the screen, preferably to the left edge. And then there's the content. I'll occasionally experiment with different pictures but I usually stick with one for a long time.
What kind of backgrounds do YOU (yes, you! Over there under the stack of moldy Byte's.) prefer ?
