Use what?
Remember the fight scene in the Bronze at the end of 'The Harvest'? The part where Buffy jumps down from that walkway, lands on a pool table, does a forward flip (I think there's another name for that...), grabbing a pool cue as she hits the floor and stakes a vampire seconds later?
I just couldn't use it... it felt too much like stealing... it was too clever... and I don't think Buffy, in this story, is quite confident enough in her abilities to pull it off yet. I would be too tempted to have her fall on her ass (slipping on a puddle of blood/beer).
And I'm once again having action-sequence issues... I've got how many fics or parts of fics stalled at the action sequence right now? At least 5. Maybe I just need to write a few short fics that are ONLY action to get over it?
I know how the rest of this fic will go... I just can't seem to get it there right now...
