Not much writing recently... Just a couple entries for the TtH 100. (Only 80 to go ";->"!) Need to do one more before I leave (So I don't miss the 2 week gap deadline) but what else can I write before I leave? Need to really work on my writing speed... I'm starting to think that it won't be until September until I start working on my planned Stargate crossover... or maybe January... 10:55:55 PM    Notes [] If only I were rich Today's "I can't believe I spent my money on that..." round of rants... Gas -- $2.75/gal for premium and it isn't even Memorial Day yet... Why? That's 9 cents more a gallon than the last time I bought gas... guess I should have filled up the tank last week when it was briefly down 2.55/gal. Why isn't there rioting in the streets over this? Instead, the white isolationists are trying to stop people from immigrating into the US (What other reason could there be other than fear of non-white people? They forget their ancestors were immigrants also...) haircut of the cheap kind at Wal-mart (So I can afford the gas to get there) Bought a watch -- my old one (An inexpensive Timex) was looking nasty after 4 years -- the only one I found that I liked was the same as my last one... tried to get a longer wristband (the standard ones they come with are a 1/4" too short) but it was a dud/waste of money (Unfortunately, I scratched it trying to get its funky quick-release attachment to work (it didn't) so I can't take it back (Argh! - $9 shot.). But at least I have a new watch... if a little tight around the wrist.)) Lottery ticket -- I really need to win -- so I can keep feeding my car gas... Why is a six-pack (bottles only of course - beer in a can is nasty!) of any beer I like at Wal-mart $8 ???? some of it has gone up almost a buck in the last year... and we all know who is to blame for that! Enough griping... I'm getting ready for my next TN/NY trip... (that's what the watch purchase was for)... almost 11 days of NO internet access... what am I gonna do? "Tomb Raider - Legend" is now out in some parts of the world... will I be able to find a copy when it reaches the shores of Eastern TN ? I really hope so. No book yet... I got a message from the publisher last that they'd started shipping "In Shadowside" but my copy hasn't shown up yet... I hope I get it before I go on vacation! 10:52:53 PM    Notes []
