Rush's 30th Anniversary Tour (back in 2005) is on INHD right now...
I can't believe it was 20 years ago that I saw them in concert (I was in college in NY (state) at the time and a bunch of us went when they came to the local venue.)
The requisite very long drum solo (of course) - though it doesn't feel so long when you are experiencing it live.
Boy... they look "old" but still sound good. Much better live than recorded - if you like guitars and drums that sound like actual music - with words even. Of course, I don't look like I did 20 years ago either (I've gotten wider but not taller)
I think I first heard them back in '85. (there was a time during the 90's where I didn't buy any music for any of my favorite artists... so I don't have a complete collection of their albums - mostly the early stuff.
Got hooked on Marillion, Led Zeppelin, and others around the same time (I grew up mostly on my parent's music - mostly folk music (my mother's stuff) and country (my father was a Johnny Cash fan) and stuff like the Beatles that was considered "safe" in middle-class America when I was growing up.
