Scoble leads us to Paul Thurrott's site where finally there are shots of Aero (the name for the new UI for Longhorn). There's not a whole lot of shots but the ones I see do look incredibly promising. I especially like the shot of being able to control the sound mix of individual programs. Many a time I've wished I could turn my IM program's sound down while leaving the mp3 volume up. Thank you Microsoft. Even aside from my elation at that it looks really clean and nice and I can't wait to see more. One day a build will leak with the UI loaded and I'll be waiting.
