cool stuff and a nice angle from Ed

David Weinberger's.

That's David Weinberger's (or the Cluetrain's) phrase, not mine.  But it is definitely related to my belief that a new organizing principle is emerging and will continue to do so.

Here's another take on it - blogging is wirearchy in action, and blogware is (therefore) a powerful and subversive (to some people ;-) tool.

Via Dave Winer:

Ed Cone: "The most powerful piece of software inside Microsoft may be the $40 application from a tiny vendor called Userland that Robert Scoble uses to write his weblog."

Its like that quark board we put in our hallway as a kid where all the brothers could put up their own pictures and deface others with liquid paper mustaches.

Photos + Wiki = Photowiki.

The story is also interesting but I like the Razor statement some how its reads like a restatement of one of the laws of thermodynamics. Maybe that's shows a need for a statement of the laws of SocialDynamX.

Google gaffe on blogging tools - old style marketing collides with web reality?.

I'm inclined here to view this as a case in point of "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity" (Hanlon's Razor).
