King of the Vanity Candidates Its too bad that he handled that TB thing so badly. If it wasn't for the bad impression I might be able to like this guy. He has delivered many of the best lines in the debates and I bet he will be great in this format.
Sharpton to Host Saturday Night Live. The Rev. Al Sharpton will host Saturday Night Live on December 6, the New York Times reports. Says Executive Producer Lorne Michaels: "He's been really funny and I think he's been refreshing in the debates. He is, to say the least, theatrical."... [Taegan Goddard's Political Wire]

Posted here so I can come back later and read all three parts. At first glance it looks worth the investment. I'll just have to see.

I wish that more of the designers of services like Ryze, LinkedIn, and the like had read and absorbed these lessons before launching into software development. I see little evidence that they have and with the lemming like rush of VC money into this space, I'm betting on a mini-bubble popping in the not too distant future. [McGee's Musings]

This sounds like a very cool feature. If you have a XML-RPC client writing to the Manila Publishing Service outputting via FTP the content to a Hosting Service then one could say that "The future (of web services) is here, its just unevenly distributed"
Work in progress: FTP for Manila. I've been working on releasing a new feature for Manila -- FTP-based static rendering. It's a cool feature, because you'll be able to host your Manila site wherever you want, as long as you have FTP access to the server -- a pretty standard feature for most hosting providers and many ISPs. Parts of the code for this feature have been done for a little while now, but a few pieces had been missing, most notably the writing of your site's RSS feed to the static server. I've got this piece working now here in the lab. What remains is finishing up docs, and a bit of testing. Stay tuned for a release later today, Murphy willing... [Jake's Radio 'Blog]
