The RSS Innovator's Dilemma.
Dave Winer and Steve Gillmor had lunch this afternoon and recorded a long audio discussion about spyware and RSS and what Microsoft/Sun/Apple needs to do.
Gillmor had a suggestion for Microsoft: a new kind of RSS Container. Browser being a renderer. Only. No integration deep into the OS. No scripting. At the end of the conversation Gillmor says that Microsoft will be last to get there. . . . [Scobleizer: Microsoft Geek Blogger]
