Emerging education Blogosphere

Cool, I'm just starting to reintroduce blogging to Kirby Hall School where I was a teacher for six years. Now I'm a parent.

Innovative professor uses blogs in university classroom.

Bud Gibson, who teaches non-technical students at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, has started a learning blogosphere.

Southwest makes a "Ding"

Being ins Austin, Texas we have been watching and traveling with Southwest from the beginning. They have been a leader in online travel applications from the start and this one looks really cool.

Southwest's new travel app gets raves.

Vic Gundotra (my boss's boss) was raving today about a travel app from Southwest Airlines. It's called "Ding" and that's exactly what it does. When it dings you have a few hours to get an outrageous deal on travel. It bings for other reasons too.

Hey, Maryam, check this one out! (We fly Southwest, so this'll end up saving us some big bucks).
