There's a brief, two page article over on The O'Reilly Network that covers some of the upcoming changes in XHTML 2.0. I especially like the Common Attribute Collection which basically defines an XML attribute group that all XHTML elements use. The article discusses one in particular: href. Basically every XHTML element can now be a link without having to wrap it in an anchor element.
