Exacerbating the situation (being lost and late in CT) was the fact that for some reason, my VerizonWireless service conked out. I was there nearly a month and this never ever happened. I had better complain.

At Trumbull, Connecticut. I had forgotten how cochlear the state is. The effect I felt was more pronounced when I was there last November. Everything about the state that I’ve seen points to some sort of twisty looping region of space-time. The fastest way to get between two points in this state is almost always a spiral. The compound at which Gen(Col)Re resides in Trumbull has this effect as well. Got lost yet again getting there. Followed Jon Harris halfway home and it took less than half the time it took for me to get there—about an hour and forty-five minutes.
