I bought Rand's Atlas Shrugged in the airport on the way down to TechEd. Some nice contrasts with the Big Easy.

No I don't have a fully formed opinion on this. I am certainly not trying to express one here. I do find it intriguing and lacking at the same time. I do keep coming back to it to learn more every few months.

I also bought an over priced pamphlet from someone on the street in New Orleans. She said that they were trying to change the world, then looked down the street at the partiers and said it didn't look as if it were working. I just happened to run into her on the street a couple of days later. She started to sell me again... and stopped when she looked at me... and recognized me... out of all the people she must have talked to for 30 seconds or less in the last few days. Maybe they will change the world.

Well, I was off the air for a little while. I survived TechEd. I will admit to spending a few nights (and well into the mornings) on Bourbon Street. After all, when the cat's away... he needs to play!

Simon Fell: Hey, Mike, is MSTK 3.0 going to support xsd:hexBinary ? Yes. That is, if I can get the $#%& thing out the door (or up to MSDN).
