Full RSS feeds are back. By popular demand, full post feeds are now available. The default feed still only includes excerpts. (133 words) [dive into mark]
I have specifically edited xml.rss.decodeString to fix the double decoding problem that manifests itself in the case of the diveintomark feed. Then, he goes and drops the post body in favor of a summary/excerpt.
Here is the announcement that a full feed is agin available... except it's not. If I look at the URL directly I can see the bodies of the posts. However, when Radio is the downloading agent the feed reverts to the summary/excerpts. If I can go to the trouble of manually changing the feed URL in the face of the warnings of imminent doom, don't you think I know whether I will choke on the feed or not?
I also note that the "full" feed does not have the summary/except attached to the body. One might think this is redundant, and in most cases it probably is. But evey once in a while an extra ounce of abstract is worth a pound of discourse.
