I'm wondering what people do with old PCs.  I have a homebrew 80 MHz 486 DX2 which I've finally tired of giving shelf space to.  It's probably not usable as a donation, as it was always rather fragile and somewhat flaky.  Rather than just throw it out (which I understand may be against US law anyway), I'd like to have it recycled.  Searching Google, it looks like most recycling services target businesses, i.e. bulk lots.  Right now, it looks like I have the following options:

  1. Pay Dell $15 to pick up my PC.
  2. Wait for a public event to be held in Denver.

[Addendum] Or, I could just ask Brad Wilson...
