I turned 36 on Thursday, which wasn't a particularly significant thing, but my wife threw a great party for me last night.  We had 4 friends over for dinner, but the dinner started with a menu of 24 items, written in various languages.  You wrote down what order you wanted them served, and then they were served, 4 at a time.  Now some of the items were utensils, so you ended up eating some courses with your fingers, and my neighbor sat through one course with a pile of utensils but no food.  Not a party plan for people without a sense of humor, but we had a great time, and had a fun discussion on languages and writing at one point.  I'm amazed that my wife could pull all this together while taking care of the baby at the same time.  I'm not worthy.
