The Palestinian Media Watch report, entitled "Kill a Jew - Go To Heaven," documents the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) ideology of hatred of Jews and Israel that is currently being taught in its schools and on its media. The report shows how the PA leadership mandates the killing of Jews - up to and including genocide - as a religious obligation. Former refusnik Natan Sharansky summarized the study to reporters: "As in Nazi Germany, there is an entire 'culture of hatred' in Palestinian society today, from textbooks to crossword puzzles, from day camps to music videos. U.S. Marines driving foreign vehicles or sporting a President George Bush bumper sticker are no longer welcome to park in a Detroit UAW parking lot! "While reservists certainly have the right to drive non-union made vehicles and display bumper stickers touting the most anti-worker, anti-union president since the 1920s, that doesn’t mean they have the right to park in a lot owned by members of the UAW."  - UAW released statement. University of Colorado embattled professor Ward Churchill accused of plagiarism. Nova Scotia school sends CU a report on Churchill essay. In 1991, Churchill edited a book of essays published in Copenhagen, Denmark, which included a piece by (Professor Fay G.) Cohen on Indian treaty fishing rights in the Northwest and Wisconsin. When publishers wanted to reprint the essay in the United States, Cohen declined to allow her essay to appear, Crosby said. So, Churchill penned an essay on the same topic under the name of the Institute for Natural Progress, a research organization he founded with Winona LaDuke. In the contributors section of the book, Churchill said he took the lead role in preparing the essay. Dalhousie spokesman Charles Crosby said Cohen told Dalhousie officials in 1997 that Churchill had called her in the middle of the night and said, "I'll get you for this." 1:56:58 PM

Canada's new subs have asbestos: Defence Dept. CTV - All four of Canada's newly leased submarines contain varying amounts of asbestos insulation, a fact that caused concern for the navy as it grappled with the fallout from the deadly fire aboard HMCS Chicoutimi. A briefing note to the chief of defence staff, written five days after the fire and obtained under the Access to Information Act, says the navy was worried about the "toxicity levels of cables (and the) extent of asbestos onboard." 12:51:08 PM
